Mix Listeners 13 and over may register at MyMix1079.com between 12am 7/31/15 and 12pm 8/7/15 by providing name, address, phone, email, and birthdate and by submitting a photo showing how they are “One Direction’s Biggest Fan.” For those under the age of 18, contest winner must have their parent or guardian sign a release and indemnification for any application submitted to win a Prize. Failure to sign the required release and indemnification will result in that listener being disqualified and another listener chosen as the Winner. A panel of Mix judges will determine the Top 10 qualified entries based upon photo creativity & uniqueness and any other criteria the Judges wish to consider. Judging will be made in the sole discretion of the Judges, including disqualification of any entrants for any reason. Then the listening audience will be asked to vote for their favorite between 12am on 8/8/15 and Thursday, 8/13/15 at 7pm. The photo with the most votes will win a pair of front row seats to the One Direction concert on August 18th at Ohio Stadium and backstage passes to meet the band with an approximate retail value of $204. One entry per person. Any photograph submitted to Mix will become the property of the station and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. Mix has the final say of what content is appropriate for the website. No use of indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted. If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, the radio station reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion. To participate in voting you must become a registered user through uPickem. Entrants must include all required registration information to register and agree to terms for UPICKEM. Voters may submit a vote once per day during the voting period. The photo with the most votes will win. The winner, announced Friday, August 14th on-air, will be notified by phone. In the case of a tie for the grand prize, a random drawing of all qualified entries with the most votes will determine the winner. Mix contests are open to all eligible central Ohio residents 18 or older who have not won anything on Mix in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of Mix, Franklin Communications, Inc., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of our main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian. Grand Prize cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Mix’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winner will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes. We will make reasonable effort to award prizes within 5 days of winning.
